Italian manufacturers Colnago are a legendary name in the world of cycling. Established by Ernesto Colnago who began working on bikes at the humble age of 13. His passion for bikes was such that he forged the date on his working papers so he could begin as an assistant welder - Italian regulations stipulated that you had to be 14 to commence work at the time. In 1954, he struck out on his own and launched his own brand, initially from just a tiny workshop. Decades on and Colnago stands proud as one of the most successful bike manufacturers in the world. Over 100 pro racing teams have used Colnago machines and over 7,500 top competitions have been one by cyclists on Colnago bikes.
